International Ice Hockey Federation custom font
Back in 2025, we created a new custom typeface for the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) brand refresh.
The design is built to reflect the speed of the game, drawing direct inspiration from ice hockey by blending the precise lines of the rink with the sharp changes of direction and rapid motion that define the sport.
Working closely with TwelfthMan, we developed a type system of five weights across three widths. This bespoke type family is tailored for everything—from official documentation to social media, and from impactful headlines to long paragraphs, giving the federation an ownable visual asset with a highly adaptable voice.
