The BwType website aims to showcase its business activities and present its products and services available for license and/or hire.

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. BwType holds the rights of usage of all the software, texts, images, sounds, animations, video and all other content included on this website, unless otherwise stated. Any transmission, distribution, reproduction, public communication, making available of, transformation, manipulation or storing of, wholly or partly, requires the express and prior consent in writing by BwType, unless otherwise stated.

BwType may modify this Legal Notice from time to time (including the Terms and Use, Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy). All modifications are effective immediately when we publish them and will be prospective only, not retroactive. We relay on streaming and video-on-demand platforms to display certain external content on the News section on the BwType website. These are cookies managed by third parties.

Privacy Policy

All information provided to BwType will be used with the purpose of providing the best possible service, contract and accounting handling and notifying of new products and business milestones. You have the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of your data, sending a written request to info@brandingwithtype.com. BwType will not trade any personal information with third parties.

By using any of the means of contact present on the BwType website, the sender gives his consent to the treatment of the information provided. The user shall be liable for the truth of the information provided.

Recording your input data on server logs

You can visit the BwType website without providing any personal data. We only record data in so-called server logs, such as the name of the file accessed, the date and time of access, the data volume transferred and the requesting provider. This data will only be used to ensure the proper functioning of the page and to improve our service, but cannot be traced back to you. This information will be stored on our server for a maximum of half a year.

Data on third party hosting partner

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software. SSL is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client – typically a web server (website) and a browser. SSL allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers to be transmitted securely. This information is not accessible through the public internet. The server we use is located in Spain, within the European Union. On this server, order information and personal information is stored and will be kept indefinitely for accounting, administration, VAT and TAX purposes.

Data collection and utilisation for contract administration purposes

BwType collects personal data when it is freely provided by you within the context of placing an order or making contact with us (e.g. via the contact form or by e-mail). We use the data (your name, surname and email) provided by you for contract administration purposes and to process your queries. Once the contract has been processed in full, your data is blocked to prevent any further utilisation and will be deleted on expiry of the mandatory retention periods set out in fiscal and commercial regulations, provided you have not expressly agreed to the further use of your data or we retain the right to further exploit your data in accordance with the law, of which we are obliged to inform you.

Data transfer for contract completion purposes

Collected personal data will be your and/or your client’s legal name, billing address, country, IP address and optional your VAT ID. Also the method of payment and the e-mail address used for payment processing will be collected.

We will pass on the payment data required for payment to the financial institution and possibly the payment service provider commissioned by us. In part, the selected payment service providers may collect the data directly should you open an account with them. In such a case, you will have to register with your login data of the payment service provider during the order process. The data protection declaration of each respective payment service provider shall apply in such cases.

If you place an order on our website, the transaction would be handled using Stripe, a third-party payment services provider. To secure your information, we both use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All credit card information is communicated between the browser and Stripe directly, and not through our servers. For invoicing and tax compliance purposes, we partner with Quaderno, a third-party invoicing services provider. We will pass on to them the invoicing data required for generating invoices, tax collection and tax filing with the Spanish and EU revenue offices. Please consult Quaderno’s Privacy Policy here.

We work with Font Radar to help us verify the validity of font licenses. To let them know who our customers are, the web domain and email used to purchase is shared with them. Please find Font Radar’s Terms of service and Privacy policy here.

Data usage on subscription to the newsletter

To send these newsletters we use the third-party service of Mailchimp. If you do not wish to receive these emails anymore, please click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any of them. You can also email us directly, using the email account you used to sign up for the newsletter with ‘Unsubscribe newsletter’ in the subject, we will then remove your email address from the list. Data usage on social media

We use different social media platforms like LinkedIn, Behance, Facebook or Instagram to communicate the activities of our business. We don’t gather information from followers on these platforms. Please refer directly to LinkedIn’s, Behance’s, Facebook’s and Instagram’s Privacy Policy terms.

Data usage for postal advertising

We will contact you directly to confirm your postal details and obtain your permission, each time we intend to send physical promotional materials related to the BwType activities.

Use of cookies

We use cookies in order to enhance our website and to enable certain functions (cart and shop functions). Please refer to our Cookie Policy above.

Third parties involved in our processes

We share your personal information with companies that provide us with support services in conducting our business and operating the website. We share your personal information only if these companies require such information to perform their functions. We do not authorize these companies to use your personal information for any other purpose. We will share your personal information with the appropriate authorities if we believe in good faith that doing so is required by law or court order, to protect our rights or property, or to protect the safety of our users or the public. We also share your personal information with our accountant and relevant tax authorities, for tax filing and fiscal compliance purposes.
