Custom typeface for the Women’s FA Cup
Between 2023 and 2024, we worked with TwelfthMan on the Women’s FA Cup new logo and custom typeface.
Custom logo
With the agency’s moodboards and visual explorations as the starting point, we further developed the frontrunner options. After several rounds of iterations, working closely with both the agency and the end client, we found the logotype that best captured the spirit of the competition.
WFACup Custom typeface
The logotype acted as the springboard for the new typeface, with its combination of fluid curves and sharp angles. The resulting custom typeface is a family of 6 weights, spanning from the sharp and nimble Thin to the unapologetic Black, providing a rich palette with plenty of flexibility.
